i just talked to a prof wearing a tight v-neck. ugh. i mean, he was very skinny. and he's not a law prof. but ugh.

And seriously, people need to stop driving from far away to the library without knowing 100% if they can get it. someone was looking for something from special collections but, and this was unbeknownst to me, you have to come during weekdays and go into the special collections section with a special collections librarian. a lawyer guy drove from roanoke. 2 hour drive dude. make sure they have the book waiting at the desk. what if it was open but someone had checked it out? gotta plan ahead, guys. that's what lawyering is all about.

i thought this chat was interesting, though perhaps also incredibly sad.

Scrambled Eggs

I know we make a lot of fried eggs (and even the occasional poached eggs), but it might be nice to return to scrambled eggs every now and then.  Some of these seem overly fancy and somewhat unhealthy.

- The hunger strike only went on for 13 days. Those kids looked like they could go for a full month. Should go for a whole month.
- You know the strikers probably saved a fair amount of money by starving. Wonder where that money went. They should consider paying more in taxes.
- The rationale: well, we have the money in our budget so we might as well. America! No need to work hard anymore.
