highly anticipated responses

we're not literate

1. the test is only hard because it's so badly written.
2. dc is definitely not snobby, especially compared to new york. i've never heard anyone in dc say - oh, well that's a dc thing and they don't have that in other cities. or dc is the best city. you hear that all the time in new york.
3. i don't understand why we can't fix this student loan problem. i think everyone's on the same page here except universities and i don't think universities have so much lobbying clout. also, why don't universities just charge higher tuition without amping up on the admin personnel? why do they have to spend their money there? at least if you built a better gym, you could showcase that on your tour. but having more admin personnel raises costs and is not something that anyone would find attractive when picking a school. (granted, hiring personnel is cheaper than building a building, but still). you can still charge higher tuition without hiring more personnel.
4. that GWB article was really nice.
5. i thought food network star was a pretty entertaining show - i only watched half of one episode. but i liked watching the business side of things. unfortunately, if that's where guy fieri is from, i'm not the biggest fan (tho my mom loves diners, dives and drive-ins.) the cooking channel is where it's at.
6. yay redskins!

what to watch
1. ooh i really liked geoffrey arend in 500 days - he's also joan harris' husband, apparently.
2. how have i missed this?!?1?!
3. donald glover is greatness.
4. i'm not sure any of those movies really need to be see in the theatre.
