i did like this comment: Spent weeks feeling that my girlfriend was a moron for caring so much about which way the roll sits, until she admitted that what we were really arguing about is that she didn't always feel that she was welcome at my apartment (which was valid, because sometimes she showed up when she wasn't welcome).
i don't know why this would be controversial although in the long run - hit and runs might be more common
